Happy Thanksgiving

Vicki and I want to wish all a Happy Thanksgiving, and our prayer for you that your continued season winds into the culmination of a celebration of the most glorious event ever – The birth of Christ.

As I perused the internet news this afternoon, I was at 1st alarmed that a WalMart worker had been trampled to death by the crowd as he attempted to unlock the doors. But then after much thought, alarm switched over to sadness. Sadness for him and his family, and sadness that the anniversary of the birth of Christ has come to people dying in the name of consumerisim.

This year, rather than being a part of the crowd that has to have the latest gadget and use the birth of our Saviour as an excuse to do so, consider giving a gift to an orphan. I know that most people browse this site and think that we do two trips per year for shoes, and PJs but I want you to know that it is much more than that.

LTCM supports orphans year round with monthly donations to 4 orphanages. We invite you to be a part of that this coming year.

Blessings!
