Some would say that it is simply life playing out. Some would say that it was the “luck of the draw”. I say simple this – the devil is mad.

Yesterday, Vicki was going on a errand with the grand-girls and a guy in one of those little box looking vehicles pulled out in front of her (failure to yield) and she plowed in to his car, spinning him around. No one was hurt, thank God. His car had to be towed. Our truck – the only vehicle we have right now besides my motorcycle, will have to be placed in the shop for repairs.

Right at a time when we need to have two vehicles, we now will be getting a rental. Am I complaining? Nah. I just know that God has bigger plans than the devil can imagine.  What will be an inconvenience for us, God will turn into a miracle. That’s the kind of God that we serve. He is never late, never early, but simply always – right on time.

Yup, the devil is mad. He doesn’t like it when we equip missionaries. He doesn’t like it when we begin to fill up 100 shoeboxes for orphans. He doesn’t like it when we raise our grandchildren up in the Lord. There’s lots of things that we do that he doesn’t like, but you know what? He has already lost!

Rom 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Blessings!  Mike-n-Vicki

LTCM has a new partner. A new contact in Mexico. A preaching machine. A prayer warrior. A servant of the Most High God. All of these things, rolled into one. Marcos Perez has been living here in our area for the past 2 years working, but more importantly – serving as a missionary to the hispanic community. Marcos is the pastor of our evening Servicio de Espanol at Lakewood. He works all day on Sunday, rushes home, cleans up and comes to the church with a powerful message to preach each Sunday evening. He has done a wonderful, powerful work in the hispanic community here. But now, it is time for him to go home and be with his family and embark on a new mission.

Marcos has a desire to open a ministry that will care for not only orphans, but also the elderly. He wants to do this in his home state of Tabasco. And to do this, he will need a means to contact people from all over to help him with the costs of this undertaking. LTCM wants to be a part of this. Knowing Marcos personally and having worked with him, Vicki and I felt the Lord leading us to provide him with a computer, not only for email purposes, but record keeping, etc.

Last night at the Servicio de Espanol, I was priviledged to  present him with a nice laptop. God made a way for us to get a great deal and we passed that on to our brother.

Vicki and I stand amazed at all that God is able to do through this ministry that HE called us to begin a mere 2 years ago. Brother Marcos is going to be a valuable contact for us in the future. He leaves here in December, heading home to wife and children and the beginnings of the new work that God has called him to do. Please keep Brother Marcos Perez in your prayers. And expect big things for the Kingdom to come through this man in the future.

Blessings!    Mike-n-Vicki, for the children.

Gentlemen (& Ladies)……..Start your engines!

It’s that time. Time to get in high gear with the shoebox ministry. Ground work has been laid. The delivery date is set. 100 plastic shoeboxes have been purchased. Inquiries have been made. Now it is time to begin to fill them.

What can you do? Several things.    1. Go to the Shoebox Central page and read the list and then purchase items.     2. Ship those items to us.   Or – 3. Send us a check made out to LTCM and we will go and purchase the items for you and pack them.

A local church has signed on to help us pack them. Their Missionette girls and leaders will be helping us. Our local church will be helping us.  But what we need now is supplies.

Contact Vicki – or Call 334 279 8191 and ask her what she needs. She will go over the list with you and help you to purchase the right items so that we dont duplicate on anything.

God Bless!!!!!
